Taimur Mania Grips The Internet, Papa Saif Picked The Name

Kareena Kapoor and Saif Ali Khan's baby boy Taimur was born this morning and soon the name was trending online.

SpotboyE.com has been tracking the story since morning and we had told you that the Kapoor Khandaan had gathered by Bebo’s side in this joyous moment including Kareena’s grandmother Krishna Raj Kapoor.

The Kapoor matriarch who is rarely seen in public, travelled from Chembur to visit Kareena’s baby (EXCLUSIVE PICS: Saif Ali Khan, Karisma & Randhir Kapoor By Kareena’s Side At The Breach Candy Hospital, Dec 20).

Proud papa Saif was there to welcome all the family members and was spotted outside the hospital, still in his green scrubs.  Saif had earlier released an official statement to announce the arrival of the new born (Meet The Youngest Pataudi: Saif-Kareena Name Their Baby Boy 'Taimur Ali Khan Pataudi', Dec 20).

SpotboyE.com can tell you that it was Saif who decided to name the child Taimur, after the emperor who conquered all of Central Asia. The name also means iron in Persian. The actor is a history buff and picked the unconventional name. Kareena too liked the name and today it is on everyone’s lips.

Just hours after the birth, Taimur got his own Instagram page and a few hundred followers too.

Meanwhile Kareena, Saif and the baby are blissfully unaware of the attention. A tired Saif finally left the hospital in the evening and he will presumably be back later to keep a watch over his wife and son in the night.
